The rain was pouring this past Saturday, but that could not compare to the showers of love District 7 received at the Hollywood Community Center, the location of the Inaugural Holiday Book Giveaway sponsored by Councilwoman Michalyn Easter-Thomas.
"Continue to decorate the tree of life with your beautiful colors" is the heartfelt note written in the signed copies of We Can All Decorate The Same Tree, authored by Jeanine Jones, illustrated by Darlene Thomas Newman.
In this holiday themed story, the tree represents the beauty that we can create when we collaborate... a welcomed message of hope after so much 2020ness.
