MERCY YIELDS GRACE

G RACE

By the mercies of God, I have learned to stand firm in God's grace. Because of that, I have been given a heart that is willing to cry out to God for mercy on behalf of our youth, or parents, our churches, our cities, our nation, The Word says mercy triumphs over judgement, so even if someone thinks they're unlovable because they are too far gone or have done too much wrong, I'm a witness that His mercy yields grace.

To me, the word "GRACE" is a reminder that we are God's race. Each of us is unique, and loved as an individual, but still part of a larger group- Humanity. And while some have chosen to embrace the powers of darkness by sowing seeds of discord and division, as people of G RACE, we have the choice to usher in light by operating in the spirit of peace and harmony... We can intentionally put unity back in community with the help of the Holy Spirit.

For me, my choice to usher in light has taken many forms, one of which is creative writing. The project I call G RACE started as a series of poems for a devotional book that grew into a play script for a stage production.

Now, I am developing the script in the filmmaking space. The scripted story not only has plot twists that mirror real life occurrences, it also uplifts with a reminder that we are not alone and that God can be trusted, even in the face of fierce opposition.

If you desire to assist in moving this project forward, please make a donation of any amount. All funds received will go toward advancing the filmmaking project. For more information, please use the contact form below.
